Organizers are putting finishing touches on the 5th Annual UMBC Aging Memory Care Summit, which will be held Jan. 17-19 in Orlando, FL. Through a unique partnership with the Disney Institute, the conference will focus on transformative strategies and principles for caregivers.

The event is run in conjunction with the Erickson School “Management of Aging Services” track at the University of Maryland-Baltimore County.

Providers will learn from the Disney team and other experts how to interact with residents, their family members and clients, among others, while creating “the experience.”

The Memory Care Summit, which will be held at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort, has been approved for 12.25 hours of continuing education credits through NAB.
