Attendees at the McKnight’s Online Forum will be able to earn up to two CE credits Thursday when the 19th edition of the popular education series takes place.

The event features a pair of webinars led by industry experts and kicks off at 10:30 a.m. ET with “Will the recession be good medicine for your staffing ills?” While a recession typically coincides with reduced employee turnover and lower recruitment costs and effort, the preferences of today’s nursing workforce have changed, making the current situation more complicated than usual.

The second session starts at 12 p.m. ET and is titled, “The value of vital sign monitoring: Enabling proactive care.” Among other issues, the webinar will explore how improved vital sign monitoring practices can predict patient deterioration and enable proactive, rather than reactive,  senior care. New vital sign monitoring technology and developments will be discussed, along with the implications of improved vital sign monitoring from a facility perspective.
