Wesley Enhanced Living (WEL), a nonprofit continuing care community that offers skilled and rehabilitation services, independent living and memory care, hosted its fourth annual ziplining trip for residents this month.

Residents at its Doylestown and Upper Moreland locations traveled to the Camelback Mountain Resort in Tannersville, PA, where they cruised down two 4,000-foot long ziplines throughout the mountains with big smiles on their faces.

“Seeing residents light up with joy and excitement when opportunities like this arise is delightful,” explained Lisa Haino, WEL’s director of marketing communications and special events.

The ziplining trip is a part of the organization’s WEL Wishes program, which is aimed at encouraging and supporting residents to fulfill their lifelong dreams.

“At WEL, we focus on not only encouraging residents to share their dreams with us, but we also provide support as they pursue their passion. That is what makes our organization so special,” Haino added.

Judging by their huge smiles, it’s safe to say that mission was a wire-to-wire success.
