After nearly tripling its business in five years, Guardian Pharmacy of Southeast Florida recently relocated its headquarters to a larger facility in Boca Raton. The new, 20,000-square-foot building, almost doubles the size of Guardian’s former location in nearby Deerfield Beach. It allows the long-term care pharmacy to increase its workforce and operations to better support the assisted living communities and skilled nursing facilities it serves from Miami to Vero Beach, and westward to Naples.

“At a time when protecting and caring for our seniors is more important than ever, this facility puts us in an even better position to help our customers deliver the highest quality of resident care,” said Alan Traster, president of Guardian Pharmacy of Southeast Florida.

With the relocation, Guardian anticipates expanding the number of employees by nearly 10% in coming months. The pharmacy also has heavily invested in additional technology like the new TCGRX compliance strip packaging system, which increases accuracy and accountability while simplifying the distribution of medications to residents.

Founded in 2004, Guardian Pharmacy of Southeast Florida is part of Guardian Pharmacy Services, one of the nation’s largest LTC pharmacy companies. With six additional locations in Florida, Guardian Pharmacy Services provides statewide coverage to long-term care communities.
