TimeSlips and LeadingAge’s collaboration have resulted in creative engagement training for 13 communities, with more to come.

“Real-life training in creative engagement is crucial to our goal of gaining widespread adoption of this approach,” said Anne Basting, founder and CEO, TimeSlips. “We are thrilled to have so many educators and students at a wide range of great educational institutions involved in the NextGen program.”

Over the summer, leaders at each of the 13 partner communities learned the TimeSlips approach. In the fall, trainees at the partner educational institutions will incorporate TimeSlips approach into classroom projects.

LeadingAge’s innovation fund is an investor in TimeSlips’ NextGen program.

“This effort aligns closely with our wish for all older adults: access to high-quality, person-centered care that acknowledges and celebrates the value and worth of people at all stages of aging,” said Katie Smith Sloan, president and CEO.
