AMD Global Telemedicine Inc. has integrated MyNICaS™ non-invasive hemodynamic monitoring technology to its AGNES platform.

The technology allows remote specialists to treat cardiac patients in place and identify high-risk patients before they are symptomatic, the company said.

The MyNICaS™ hemodynamic profiling used in telehealth applications lets remote physicians to get an accurate reading of patients’ cardiac output and fluid status. The goal is to avoid exacerbations or a rehospitalization.

Nursing homes, outpatient clinics and long-term care facilities will benefit from hemodynamic profiling integrated with the AGNES Platform, AMD said.
