Golden Living has announced it will be operating a new transitional care and rehabilitation facility in Georgia called Salude. The facility will have 64 private rooms and will provide enhanced transitional rehab services for those who are recovering from cardiac, orthopedic, respiratory and other complex, short-term rehabilitation needs.

The facility also will feature therapy equipment that includes HUR®, MoveoTM, BioStep® and ALterG® Anti-Gravity Treadmill® as part of its regimen of clinical care. Meals will be prepared with locally sourced ingredients by a professional chef, and patients will have on-demand television and video conferencing.

The facility will serve the Suwanee, GA, metro area and will be led by Alan Wang, M.D., chief executive officer of Salude. The economic impact related to the development of Salude is $16 million, and it’s expected that more than 70 full-time and part-time positions will be available.
