Relias Learning has completed the acquisition of fellow professional education company RediLearning. The deal will allow 400 new senior care courses to be merged into the Relias library.

RediLearning was founded in 2006, and recently announced a partnership with Skillsoft.

“Our success at RediLearning was formed on the combination of offering great content, innovative technology, and exemplary client service,” says Michael Hemlepp, founder and CEO of RediLearning. “We’re thrilled that Relias is also dedicated to these key pillars and will help bring an even higher level of investment, innovation and impact to our customers and the healthcare industry as a whole.”

The acquisition was the latest chapter in long-term care online learning consolidation. Relias, a cornerstone of Bertelsmann’s Education Group, bought the Hospice Education Network in 2014 and Care2Learn in 2013. The latter bought Upstairs Solutions in 2012.
