The Pennsylvania company began using Status Solutions’ SARA (Situational Awareness and Response Assistant) in 2010. Redstone added CATIE to a 135-bed facility in 2018, then added it to two other sites in Greensburg, PA, and North Huntingdon, PA.
CATIE allows residents to be informed of community happenings, while keeping staff
informed of resident’s needs. It features an intercom, electronic bulletin board, customized radio station and concierge.
“Our goal is to provide a solution that residents, regardless of age or proficiency with
technology, can pick up and easily find the information they want/need,” said Mike MacLeod, Status Solutions president and CEO. “The more residents engaged with CATIE the more communication and information staff receives to provide quality care.”
