Prime Care Technologies has chosen a Minnesota consulting firm for expertise, as it looks to roll out a new case management and reimbursement app.

That partnership was announced last week, as Pathway Health — which helps long-term care and post-acute facilities, with a staff of more than 150 clinicians and technology experts — will help with the rollout and ongoing support for “Managed Care MASTER.” As announced last month, that app synthesizes information from managed care contracts, electronic medical records and case management reports, helping skilled-nursing facilities to maximize their reimbursements. It does so with the help of managed care expert Mix Solutions.

“We selected Pathway Health due to its deep knowledge of the post-acute care continuum and nationwide network of expert consultants,” Jim Hoey, CEO of Duluth, GA-based Prime Care Technologies, said in an announcement. “As momentum builds for our best practice case-management solution, this partnership will enable us to better support our customers as they work to simplify their managed care processes.”
