Optalis Healthcare, Inc., a leading skilled nursing and senior living company based in Novi, MI, has purchased five Detroit-area properties from Premier Health Care Management, Inc.
Premier CEO and co-founder Tim Spiro is also now the independent owner and operator of Premier’s former West Bloomfield Health and Rehabilitation Center. The deal closed Sept. 1.
Previously operating as a joint venture, the six facilities in Oakland and Macomb counties have 1,062 beds and employ more than 2,000 people.
“This was strategically a perfect fit to the Optalis growth plan in the Southeast Michigan market,” said Optalis CEO Raj Patel.
