Hospitals are about to dramatically enhance analytics to reduce costs and enhance the value of their electronic health records, according to a new report from Frost & Sullivan. While the report focuses primarily on acute care, skilled operators may see a tertiary benefit – especially operators that partner more aggressively with hospitals. “Advanced analytics capabilities are absolutely critical for survival,” said Nancy Fabozzi, an analyst with the firm.
