Strategies for mastering the transition to the Patient-Driven Payment Model strategy get top billing at the 2019 McKnight’s Fall Online Expo, scheduled for Wednesday, Sept. 18.

In addition to two PDPM presentations and a third on innovation, the expo include virtual booths where industry vendors share their latest and greatest. Participants can earn free continuing education credit for each of the three educational sessions. 

The event begins at 10:30 a.m. ET.

Payment expert Leah Klusch, RN, BSN, founder of the Alliance Training Center, will host the day’s first session, “Leading Your Team Through the Transition to PDPM.” The session will start at 11 a.m. ET and focus on key components needed for the transition from PPS to PDPM. 

Renee Kinder, MS CCC-SLP, RAC-CT, Encore Rehabilitation vice president of clinical services, will host the second session at 1 p.m. ET: “PDPM: Requiring Interprofessional Cooperation as You’ve Never Known It.” 

The final session will start at 3 p.m. ET. Kari Olson, Front Porch chief innovation and technology officer and president of Front Porch Center for Innovation & Wellbeing, will present on “Harnessing Innovation to Achieve Strategic Impact and Transformation.”
