Kathleen Darmstadt

Kathleen Darmstadt, vice president of finance for Parker Jewish Institute, was named a Notable Woman in Accounting by Crain’s New York Business 2020.

During the COVID-19 crisis, Parker procured additional personal protective equipment rather than wait for government-provided equipment or funding. She ensured Parker’s resiliency, navigating budgetary challenges that included increased staffing and overtime, and investing in UV-lighting to help fight against COVID-19.

“Leveraging her financial prowess for the Parker Jewish Institute for Health Care and Rehabilitation, Darmstadt sought to procure personal protective equipment when that was no small task, and she navigated thorny budgetary issues to keep the organization afloat,” Crain’s noted.

Darmstadt brings more than 20 years of non-profit experience to Parker’s finance department. She joined Parker in 2007 as director of finance. She was promoted to her current position in 2018.
