OnShift this week announced it has acquired Avesta Systems as part of an effort to expand its next-generation human capital management platform.
Avesta, now operating as OnShift Employ, provides comprehensive talent acquisition software and services that streamline recruiting and hiring processes. With the combined solution, healthcare providers will new resources for hiring, engaging and retaining quality employees, while reducing turnover and costs.
With the Avesta acquisition, OnShift further expands its footprint in the healthcare marketplace, by adding emergency medical services capabilities.

In a recent workforce research report, 72% of healthcare professionals reported employee turnover as a top workforce challenge, followed by finding qualified talent (62%).
