Nurse Rosie‘s customer service team chose Heifer International for its year-end charitable giving, raising $270.
Heifer International helps in building sustainable agriculture in needy communities, such as helping farms produce milk, eggs and honey that can be sold.
“Some days it is difficult to get through hearing the news throughout the world so the Customer Service team at Nurse Rosie wanted to do something to bring about some positivity,” said Nurse Rosie Lead Customer Service Specialist Brittany Benson.
The team members opened up the idea to other members of the company, and donated in lieu of gifts. The money will go toward a flock of chicks and water buffalo for a community.
