ElationEMR announced its Elation Provider Network, a new service for physicians, last week.
The product automatically identifies all the providers who have cared for a patient based on clinical interactions, verifies the provider’s contact information and lets a physician communicate reliably with any provider. The company has begun a staged roll-out, first launching the service in select San Francisco Bay Area markets.
Advantages include quick and secure access to other physicians and the ability to attach document and chart information, the company said.
