Turenne PharMedCo has launched the Connect 360 program to give nursing homes and assisted living facilities access to analytics through personalized annual reviews, the company announced.
Connect 360 gives facilities a deeper look at pharmacy service usage and details on purchases, average costs, and the number of certain medications. This includes antipsychotics.
“Analytics are important for all types of businesses because it’s the basis of good decision-making,” said John Dombach, Pharm.D., general manager at Turenne PharMedCo. “When you rely on government funding, it’s imperative that you have solutions that help you be an excellent steward of those dollars. Knowing how much these types of medications are used by peer facilities helps establish a kind of baseline and promotes less use of antipsychotic medication.”
