RoP Learning launched last week as a company geared to help post-acute care providers meet new federal standards.

It will provide targeted web-based education to skilled nursing facilities specifically geared toward meeting reviews for Requirements for Participation under the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services. Phase 2 of the requirements should be implemented in nursing homes by Nov. 28.

Industry veterans Judy and Ron Hoff are running RoP Learning, with coursework geared toward meeting changing needs.

“RoP Learning is here to help skilled nursing facilities across the U.S. seamlessly adapt to these major rule changes,” said Judy Hoff, who will serve as CEO. “Through our suite of targeted online education resources, RoP Learning provides simple, affordable and accessible web-based learning to ensure every staff person is meeting federal standards of care.”

The company allows facilities choose which online education modules are the most relevant. Twenty web-based modules include Admission, Transfer and Discharge Rights, Comprehensive Person-Centered Care Planning, Food and Nutrition Services and Infection Control.
