MedixSafe M2 Vanguard has released the M2 Narcotics Locker, which allows tracking to help providers have a complete narcotics inventory log.
The system records and documents all activity, the company said.
It gives the option of incorporating biometric fingerprint scanners, proximity cards and IP-based remote management to narcotics security protocols. While providers can still access emergency medicines quickly, the system focuses on accountability and recordkeeping.
Users can be set up to remotely manage or monitor mobile units. The cabinets themselves are made of steel.
