MatrixCare made several announcements about its future during its “Directions” conference last month.

It introduced a modernized platform designed to work across all care settings, with purpose-built workflows for providers. It also debuted its Brightree home health and hospice solution that will be integrated into the modernized platform.

In addition, it showed an “eMAR offline” option that will allow medication administration even in situations where internet connectivity is lost, a service helpful to facilities struggling with natural disasters such as hurricanes or wildfires.

MatrixCare also introduced Brian Peters, formerly CIO with CarDon, as MatrixCare’s new COO.
