Life Care Centers of America has filled two communications positions at its headquarters in Cleveland, TN.

Leigh Atherton was appointed senior vice president for corporate and community relations, while Rob Pauza assumes the role of vice president of the media center.

“Communication is an area of vital importance for any organization, and this is definitely true for us, with 208 skilled nursing centers in 28 states,” said Life Care President Beecher Hunter. “Pauza and Atherton are seasoned professionals who will strengthen our communications capabilities and support for our facilities, both internally and with the public.”

Atherton will oversee both the media center and public relations. She joined Life Care’s PR department in March of 2008 and was named director in 2012. She is a graduate of Lee University with a bachelor’s. degree in communication.

Pauza came to Life Care in 1997 as an intern in the graphic services department and was hired as a full-time graphic designer in 1999 after graduating from the University of Tennessee of Chattanooga with a bachelor’s degree in graphic design. He was promoted to director of graphic services in 2005.
