Kinnser Software Inc. has announced its readiness for the Hospice Item Set (the HIS), a new compliance requirement affecting all Medicare-certified hospice admissions and discharges starting July 1, 2014.
The HIS is a component of the Hospice Quality Reporting Program (HQRP) and is used to collect data on seven hospice quality measures. Kinnser Hospice® added the new functionality without the need for a software download.
