HealthDirect Pharmacy Services on Monday announced its acquisition of King of Prussia Pharmacy Services, or KOPPS, bringing its total locations to 25.

KOPPS has provided long-term care pharmacy services to the northern Philadelphia area since 2001.

“King of Prussia Pharmacy Services provides a level of service and has a culture that complements the HealthDirect family of pharmacies,” HealthDirect President Brian Scott said in a press release. “As a new HealthDirect pharmacy, we will look to strengthen their existing customer relationships while creating new and lasting ones. We look forward to future opportunities and continuing to provide high-quality pharmacy services in the Pennsylvania market”.

KOPPS is the sixth HealthDirect location in Pennsylvania, part of a strategic expansion in the state aimed at enhancing the ability to provide customized services, innovative technological solutions and faster deliveries.

The company is headquartered in Syracuse, NY, and now has 25 across pharmacies in eight states.
