Guardian Pharmacy of Jacksonville, a locally owned member of Guardian Pharmacy Services, one of the nation’s largest long-term care pharmacy companies, has acquired the LTC division of Atkinson’s Pharmacy.
Atkinson’s will operate as Guardian Pharmacy of Jacksonville and continue serving existing LTC customers. This strategic expansion comes as Guardian marks 15 years serving skilled nursing and assisted living communities.
The acquisition increases Guardian’s resident customer base by more than 30%. Rob Allen, CEO and president of Atkinson’s Pharmacy, will continue working with Guardian to ensure a seamless transition.
All of Atkinson’s employees will join the Guardian team at Guardian’s Jacksonville facility.
