Groove Health announced a collaboration with CNA to provide the latter’s long-term care policyholders with a digital medication adherence platform.
The policyholders will be able to access the enterprise version of Groove Health’s AI-powered medication adherence mobile app. The app is powered by Maxwell, a virtual medication assistant that features medication reminders and drug interaction alerts.
“Medication adherence is a key driver of overall health, yet fewer than 50% of patients take their medication as prescribed,” said Andrew Hourani, founder & CEO, Groove Health. “We are continuing to see insurers embrace the role that AI-based technology can play in improving medication adherence, especially in the aging population.”
