Shepard Medical Products has upgraded its CareMates Nitrile Medical Examination Gloves, the company said.
CareMates Nitrile Gloves meet ASTM Standard D6978 for Resistance to Permeation by Hazardous Drugs for 15 cytotoxic (chemotherapy and home infusion) drugs and for fentanyl.
The gloves are designed to help staff who may come in contact with chemicals through clothing, bathrooms or exposed surfaces.
CareMates Nitrile Examination Gloves feature a patented low-dermatitis formulation, have 0% viral penetration, 0% alcohol permeation, and meet the ASTM Standard for Infection Control, the company said.
The gloves are available in 100-, 50-, and 10-count packages, with a choice of four sizes.
