Dylan Investments has acquired the 28-bed skilled nursing facility and campus, Los Gatos Oaks Convalescent Hospital, JCH Senior Housing Group announced.

The real estate firm bought the property for $3.5 million from a local cardiologist. The site also features two four-plexes and a single-family home on close to three acres.

The original intention was to demolish the buildings and build a memory care facility. Shep Roylance of JCH Senior Housing Group said instead the plans are to convert the skilled nursing facility into a sub-acute facility in order to better serve the community in conjunction with the Camden Post-Acute Care Center. There also will be a 22-unit high-end memory care community.
