Jeffrey Stalker has been named administrator of a publicly owned and operated nursing home in Wayne County, NY.

He begins Nov. 30 at an annual salary of $101,975, according to published reports.

Until then, the county’s Board of Supervisors has appointed Nurse Education and Infection Control Coordinator Michelle Riggs interim nursing home administrator and hired an administrative consultant.

The 192-bed Wayne County Nursing Home and Rehab Center is the largest skilled long-term care facility in Wayne and Ontario counties. 

Stalker comes from Northwoods Rehabilitation & Nursing Center in Moravia, NY, where he has spent the last as administrator. He is a respiratory therapist, with extensive experience in nursing home and home care settings, according to his LinkedIn profile.

He has an associate’s degree in respiratory therapy from Berkshire Community College, a bachelor’s of technology in healthcare management from SUNY Canton, and a master’s degree in healthcare administration from Utica College.
