COMS Interactive is now a wholly owned subsidiary of PointClickCare, the company announced this week.

Providers can use COMS to leverage insights and data as they prepare for Patient Driven Payment Model requirements, said Brian Buys, RN, director, product management at PointClickCare.

“Through the integration of COMS in our clinical product, together with other efforts, we are delivering a single source for standardized, evidence-based content as well as advanced insights and analytics, all of which are critical to PDPM and other value-based payment models,” he said.

While COMS is under the PointClickCare umbrella, it will continue to operate as an independent brand.

In other PointClickCare news, the company announced it was joining the U.S. government’s AMR Challenge, an effort to focus on combatting antimicrobial resistance.
