Clover Health, a technology company offering Medicare Advantage coverage, announced plans to expand into eight new counties in Georgia, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and South Carolina on January 1.

In the past 12 months, Clover has increased membership by 31%, outpacing the nationwide Medicare Advantage average growth of 8%.

With this expansion, Clover will be available in 34 counties across seven states, including Arizona, Tennessee and Texas. Clover already serves more than 40,000 seniors and others eligible for Medicare.

Clover uses proprietary technology to collect, structure and analyze health and behavioral data to improve medical outcomes and lower costs. The approach proactively identifies at-risk individuals and teams with providers to accelerate care coordination and reduce avoidable costs.
