Electronic health records in long-term care are now being certified, a leading organization recently announced. Vendors approved so far by the Certification Commission for Health Information Technology include AOD Software (Answers EHR, version Autumn) and HealthMEDX (HealthMEDX Vision, version 7.1.10). The designation gives providers “greater assurance that their EHR systems will support their individual patient care and business needs,” said Cynthia Morton, executive vice president of the National Association for the Support of Long Term Care.
