EHR provider Cantata Health and ABILITY have announced a partnership to improve reimbursement and compliance for skilled nursing facilities.

By working together, these two companies hope providers can achieve higher reimbursements by identifying MDS issues early, reduce survey citations, boost infection surveillance by expanding surveillance capabilities. The goal is to meet regulatory compliance by mitigating monetary penalties and following mandated performance measures.

“Our partnership with ABILITY helps to improve accuracy and minimize issues, allowing facilities to focus on what matters most: the resident,” said Tad Druart, chief revenue officer, Cantata Health. “With the upcoming shift to the patient-driven payment model, ensuring accuracy from the moment a resident is admitted is more important than ever as we help our customers treat the needs of the resident, and maintain communication with their families, and their network of care providers.”
