Builders FirstSource has purchased the assets of Charlotte-based Bianchi & Company, a major supplier of millwork to senior living facilities.
Bianchi is a major millwork supplier and installer in the Carolina markets, supplying new interior trim packages and hardware. Its products include interior and exterior doors, crown moldings, stair rail, chair rail, wainscoting and custom installation. Bianchi has annual revenues of approximately $30 million and it supplies senior living, multi-family and single family home builders.
“This acquisition directly aligns with our next-generation growth strategy to more closely partner and integrate with customers to streamline the construction process,” said Builders FirstSource CEO Chad Crow. “Bianchi is our fifth tuck-in acquisition in the last 6 months, which together provides more than $200 million in annual value-added net sales.
Headquartered in Dallas, Builders FirstSource is the largest U.S. supplier of building products, prefabricated components and value-added services to the professional market segment for new residential construction and repair and remodeling.
