The Alabama Nursing Home Association and member facilities have made steady progress in customer satisfaction over nine years, according to results from the National Research Corporation.

My InnerView by National Research has done regular surveys focused around improvement. In 2013, 91% of residents gave an overall rating of excellent or good, and 92% said they would recommend their facility to others.

“Alabama is also setting a new benchmark for other states to provide the same quality of care our seniors deserve,” said Mary Oakes, senior vice president of post-acute for National Research.

Alabama Nursing Home Association President Frank Brown said the organization is “thankful this data supports the fact that we are providing an environment that engages employees to provide high quality healthcare that residents can thrive in and families can feel good about.”
