Adventist Health System has selected HealthMEDX for its 15 long-term care centers, the company announced.

Adventist was an early adopter of electronic medical records on the acute care side, and said it “understand the impact that strategically deployed information technology (IT) has on improving quality and safety.”

“Our goal is to use technology to electronically manage care transitions and to drive safe, efficient care in our facilities. We want to ensure the best resident experience while providing our nurses and CNAs with easy-to-use tools that make their jobs more efficient and impactful.

“The partnership with HealthMEDX will allow for this to work and will benefit our patients, communities and employees by advancing quality of care and improving the patient experience,” said Michele Givens the CEO of Adventist Care Centers.
