The McKnight’s two-day celebration honoring women leaders at various stages of their careers in senior living and skilled nursing is finally here!

The third annual McKnight’s Women of Distinction Awards ceremony kicks off tonight at 6:45 p.m. ET. Lifetime Achievement Award winner Mary Ousley, 19 Hall of Honor inductees, 15 Veteran VIPs and 17 Rising Stars will be feted during the ceremony.

Tonight’s awards presentation will feature remarks by a host of big guest speakers from outside the field and within, including appearances by NFL players and the chairman of the Senate Committee on Aging.

The ceremony will be preceded by a roundtable discussion about workforce lessons from the pandemic at 5:30 p.m. ET. It will feature four McKnight’s Women of Distinction honorees giving advice and observations.

Participating on the panel will be Lori Alford, chief operating officer of Avanti Senior Living; Robin Bradley, chief operating officer of American Health Partners; Kimberly Green-Yates, chief operating officer of Diakonos Group; and Alicia Hartnett, director of healthcare and assisted living for Lutheran Village at Miller’s Grant.

The celebration will continue on Wednesday with the McKnight’s Women of Distinction Forum. That event will offer three live educational webinars during which all professionals will have the opportunity to earn up to three CE credits.

Registration, which is required but free, covers both the awards presentation and Wednesday’s McKnight’s Women of Distinction Forum.
