Jennifer Cisneros got her start as an automated logistical specialist in the U.S. Army in 2006. She since has worked to become a licensed nursing home administrator at the Williamsport Home in Williamsport, PA.

In the time between serving in the Army and joining the Williamsport Home, Cisneros served as a certified nursing assistant, an administrator in training, a unit clerk and an assistant administrator.

She manages and directs the day-to-day operations of Williamsport’s skilled nursing rehabilitation center and short-term transitional care unit, including a memory care unit and an end-of-life care suite. The Williamsport Home is a continuing care retirement community consisting of a skilled nursing center, two levels of licensed personal care (assisted living) and 157 independent living apartments.

Since joining Williamsport, she has helped the community receive its first-ever deficiency-free survey and a deficiency-free federal life safety survey. She also aided in its star-rating increasing from a 3 to a 5. The facility has not had a complaint visit in the past year nor a substantiated complaint in more than two years.

Cisneros chairs the Alzheimer’s Memory Walk for the facility and helps raise money for the Alzheimer’s Association. She also serves on the Salvation Army Festival of Trees committee and has worked to raise gifts and funds to decorate a holiday tree that is auctioned off with proceeds benefiting needy locals.

Although both she and her husband work full time, she says she’s always sure to schedule work life around her children’s activities in order to support them.
