The deadline for entering the McKnight’s Excellence in Technology Awards has been extended to July 31.
In the hectic, stressful world of long-term care, extensions are often a reason to cheer: Witness the relief at the recently announced Affordable Care Act employer mandate extension.
Operators now also have some extra time to win recognition for their best technology initiatives.
Independent judges will give out gold, silver and bronze awards in five categories: Quality through Technology, Dignity through Technology, Innovator of the Year, Transitions and the High Tech/High Touch award.
The awards are open at no cost to skilled nursing and assisted living operators, and continuing care retirement communities.
Winners will receive acknowledgement in the print and digital editions of McKnight’s. As last year’s winners’ circle showed, it will be a distinguished group.
