The third annual McKnight’s Excellence in Technology awards officially is underway, with submissions now being accepted from the realms of skilled nursing, assisted living and continuing care retirement communities.
The prestigious awards recognize providers that have harnessed technology to achieve true eldercare excellence. Basic as well as sophisticated implementations are considered, with last year’s winning technologies including an animatronic dog and a complex medication management system.
Gold, silver and bronze winners will be recognized in five categories: Quality through Technology; Dignity through Technology; the High Tech/High Touch Award; the Innovator of the Year Award; and the Transitions Award.
