Golden LivingCenters is changing its name to Brickyard Healthcare in a major rebrand that will better reflect the company’s deepened ties to Indiana, the company announced Monday.

The provider currently operates 23 facilities offering skilled nursing services for both short- and long-term residents. The rebranding initiative is a push to reflect the company’s evolution from a large family of SNFs operating in many states to a regional family of healthcare providers rooted in the Midwest.

“Our focus moving forward is to foster a true sense of community and belonging for our fellow residents and our incredible team members,’ Wesley Rogers, president and CEO of Brickyard Healthcare, said in a statement.

“We are excited about the new chapter for Brickyard Healthcare. Our team aims to convey our commitment to our new tag line — In the Care of Community,” Rogers added.

The company plans to transform its care centers, websites and other branded pieces in the coming months. It also assured that all services offered under the Golden LivingCenters name will continue to be available under Brickyard.

Founded nearly 60 years ago, Golden LivingCenters once owned dozens of nursing homes but divested itself of a majority of its operational holdings. Among them were 36 facilities in Pennsylvania, many of which were subsequently operated by Skyline Healthcare.
