In overseeing payroll for employees at several dozen facilities, Lynne Kennedy had her hands full as Midwest Health’s accounting and payroll manager.
“Part of the problem was we had an antiquated system” when it came to payroll, she explains.
The company found success with Kronos Workforce Timekeeper, Scheduler, Talent Acquisition, HR and Payroll products.
The Kronos suite has helped with onboarding new hires, and it reduces time spent on hiring documentation such as federal and state forms. While adding new facilities increased staff by 30%, there wasn’t additional payroll staff needed.
“Our company is in growth mode,” she explains. “We needed to be able to have a product that would grow with us.”
Since launching the Kronos products around two years ago, Kennedy says she has been able to streamline the process of activities such as distributing W2 tax stubs at the end of the year.
“It reduces the time spent,” she says.
