Online learning has become particularly valuable for people like Sherry Johnson, RN, director of clinical development for UHS Pruitt.
The company needed a tool for educating staff members that gives everyone the same level of training. By partnering with Care2Learn four years ago, it accomplished that goal, Johnson says.
“Care2Learn is a great way to deliver consistent content in multiple locations,” she says. “The complexity of patient medical conditions has grown so much and they have a lot of content addressing that.”
The UHS Pruitt educational program consists of prerequisite courses from Care2Learn’s Online University followed by live workshops. This format “re-establishes a baseline of knowledge” for employees, Johnson says. Plus, Care2Learn’s system allows UHS Pruitt to measure employee progress, she notes.
