The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services will hold a second ‘train-the-trainer’ session for providers on MDS 3.0 from August 9 to 13 in Las Vegas, the agency’s Thomas Dudley said in a conference call last week. Registration details, including the host hotel site, will be released soon, he said.
The purpose of the session is to reach providers on the West Coast who might not have been able to attend the agency’s first session in April in Baltimore, Dudley explained in a SNF Open Door Forum last week.
“If you went to the one in April, it’s not that you have to go to this August one or you’ll miss out on new information,” he said. “But there will be some updates on the questions you asked and that we’re trying to answer.”
New information will be included in the agency’s listserv and online, “whether you attend or not,” he added.
