12 years and counting: McKnight's Online Expo returns March 14-15

Set a reminder: McKnight's Spring Online Expo, where participants can earn up to five free continuing education credits, is scheduled for March 14 and 15.

Presented by McKnight's Long-Term Care News, the event includes webcasts along five tracks, a full virtual exhibit hall and more. Learn more about payment in “Phase II and beyond: Are you up to speed?” get a technology update during “Telehealth in the long-term setting: What you need to know in 2018” and improve your wound care knowledge with “Is the Braden Scale increasing your facility's risk of malpractice?”

Other topics include the quality-oriented “Beyond a fire drill: Emergency prep steps for active shooters in your building” and a conversation about capital in “The new funding sources,” both of which will take place the second day.

The roster of presenters includes: Leah Klusch, RN, BSN, FACHA, executive director of Alliance Training Center; Ilene Warner-Maron, Ph.D., RN-BC, CWCN, CALA, NHA, FCPP, consultant and federal monitor with David Hoffman and Associates; Emily H. Wein, attorney, shareholder at Baker Donelson; JoAnne Carlin, MSN, RN, NHA, CPHRM, CDAL, vice president of Clinical Risk Services; and Beth Burnham Mace, chief economist for the National Investment Center for Senior Housing & Care.

In addition to earning credits, participants can network with industry colleagues and visit a virtual exhibition hall with online booths offering product information, videos and white papers.

The free, online expo opens with the first webinar at 11 a.m. on March 14.
