Facility operators will be preparing next week to honor and showcase their dietary managers and employees the following week. “Pride in Food Service Week” kicks off Feb. 7 to “celebrate the important role they play in institutional food service,” according to the Dietary Managers Association. The DMA is a professional organization of more than 14,000 food and nutrition services managers, the vast majority of whom work in long-term care facilities and hospitals.
