Hughes Health & Rehabilitation in Connecticut hired Jennette Livingston as director of social services, where she will provide emotional, physical and spiritual support to residents.
Before Hughes, Livingston served as a social worker, program director and support group facilitator at Newington Rapid Recovery Rehab Center for four years. She has been a residents’ director for several nursing homes in Connecticut.
Livingston earned her bachelor’s of social work from the University of Saint Joseph in West Hartford. She frequently volunteers at hospitals and nursing homes to help sick residents, and earned a Certificate in Specialized Dementia Training in 2015 through the Alzheimer’s Association.
