Anthony Joseph, LNHA, is the new administrator at the Rome Memorial Hospital Residential Health Care Facility in New York, which he ran more than 20 years ago. The 80-bed skilled nursing facility is on the hospital’s third floor.

Joseph was the vice president of long-term care services at Samaritan Health Systems in Watertown until retiring in 2016. In previous years, he served as administrator of the Presbyterian Home in New Hartford, NY; administrator at the Oneida Healthcare Center Extended Care Facility, in Oneida, NY; as director and CEO of the Madison County Office for the Aging in Canastota, NY; and as administrator and CEO of Mohawk Valley Nursing Home in Ilion, NY.

Joseph ran the hospital’s RHCF from 1995 until 1997.

He has served as an adjunct professor at SUNY-Polytechnic Institute, SUNY-Oswego and Utica College.

Joseph completed his bachelor’s degree from Utica College and two master’s degrees from Syracuse University.
