The Harvard Joint Center for Housing Studies and AARP Foundation plan to release a new report at a Washington, D.C. event on September 2.

The report, “Housing America’s Older Adults-Meeting the Needs of an Aging Population,” will be presented by Chris Herbert, the acting managing director at the Harvard Joint Center. Speakers later in the day include the Honorable Henry Cisneros, who is the former U.S. Secretary of Housing and Urban Development.

The report, which features new research, is meant to jump-start the conversation about aging Americans and their housing needs, organizers said.

The event will run from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and be held at the Washington Court Hotel. To register, click here. A live webcast will also be available.
