Briggs Healthcare will buy ezPBJ, a software system for Payroll-Based Journal reporting, the companies announced last week.

ezPBJ launched a PBJ solution for skilled nursing facilities in response to Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services regulations in 2016. That year, Briggs bought SimpleLTC, a predictive analytics software company. Moving forward, SimpleLTC and ezPBJ will coordinate to grow their product lines, the company said.

“With the addition of ezPBJ to the Briggs family, we’re excited to further grow our digital platform to help post-acute care organizations simplify their processes and unlock the tremendous hidden value within their data,” said Dustin Epstein, Briggs Healthcare Chief Digital Officer.

ezPBJ announced last month that it had released a free analytics tool to help skilled nursing facilities benchmark and monitor their reporting.
